note: i didn't bother writing in the man at the end of various unit names, because i am a gender equallity kind of person,

            ARMY

            Longbow Infantry

foot soldiers armed with longbows. they generally have a higher rate of fire then the musket infantry, but with less chances of hit and less damage. They tend to have trouble penetrating armor.

            Crossbow Infantry

Foot soldiers armed with crossbows, which as a lower rate of fire then a longbow, but can penetrate armor with better accuracy and damage.

            Medieval Infantry

Foot soldiers that wears a suit of armor, carries a shield and armed with a sword or mace or axe.

            Pike Infantry

Soldiers armed with Pikes that are usually for defence against Knights and other horse riding units.

            Musket Infantry

Mainly foot soldiers armed with Muskets (the 15th to 19th centuries type of real earth history). They are considered mainly a defensive unit. They do more damage then a longbow and crossbow that can penetrate armor. One disadvantage is that it makes gunshot noise, which can be heard a few miles away, depending of the area.

At the present time, Apolyton Musket Infantry are also armed with swords as their secondary weaponry.

            Knights

Horse Riders with a suist of Armor and armed with swords or maces or flail or whatever.

            Fox Riders

Created by Easthaven, they are horse riders equip with muskets and have extra speed in exchange of lack of armor. That are also equipped with swords as secondaries.

            Catapult

A mechanical unit made of wood and some iron that propels rocks, fireballs or these days, gunpowder grenades at a long distance. They also have the advantage of firing over walls and other structures that weren't to high.

            Cannon

Recently develops, they are generally extremally large versions of muskets that as enough firepower to blast through the average city wall. They also have twice the range of a catapult.

            NAVY

            Corvettes

A militirize version of the Caravel, which exchange transport space for offensive capabilities. Starts out with musket weaponry, but later can be upgraded to Cannons.

            Caravel

A defensive naval unit which is mainly used for transporting troops and supplies.

            Frigate

They are bigger and stronger sailing ships then Corvettes/Caravels that can travel in Oceans without risk of loss thanks to Magnetism to keep tract of direction. Frigates are also armed with new Cannons, which can carry more of then a Corvette.

            Galleons

They are transport ships with better defensive capabilities that can travel in oceans. Can carry two times more ground units and supplies then a Caravel.

They're equipped with swords also, good for decapitating infantry when they've fired their first barrage.

about 100 Gold in the Treasury

fair deal, considering a lot of cannons, frigates and other units appeared pretty quickly for and during the war against england, as well with quickened research (assuming the construction of research producing places) and plenty of upgrades.
