The Italian airforce will start its bombing raids over the Persian main cities and forces at 9:28 PM (GMT + 1).

In a perfect coordination with the Soviet forces, so that the Persian army will have to fight at the same time to fronts, too much far away.

The Italian fleet will fire upon any sheep leaving the Persian ports in the Mediterraneum.

Our motorized troops, armors and tanks will start the invasion of Turkey, at 9:35 PM (GMT + 1).
30 Minutes later, at 9:55 Pm (GMT + 1) Our marines landing force will start their invasion of Israel/Palestine and Lebanon.

The two forces will encircle the Persian forces, one from the North, and one from South, and shall meet in the country West of Baghdad in 18 days.

In the meanwhile a small invasion force, composed by the Sicilian Armor division and the Veneto Infantry regiment, together with the help of the 78th, 79th and 80th Bombrad squadroon, shall overrun Greece (where we already informed the population of our arrival).

The darkness has just fallen upon earth. Only the sounds of trucks passing by were giving away Russian presence in the area. It was 09:24pm the 18th September around NUSSR and Persian Empire border. Soldier Svorniov was mounting in one of those APCs. In a few minutes, he will be a part of the massive Soviet onslaught, one of the millions that will attack this day. At his shoulder, the heavy assault rifle was bouncing alongside him. The AK-308 was the newest produce of NUSSR industry. The gun was shooting light speed bullets and a mini-rocket launcher was just under the barrel. Inside it was a new rocket, an Armor Piercing one. One of these things was able to cut through 1000 mm of cement and then explodes in a hundred of shrapnel pieces spreading everywhere in a circle of 50 meter wide. This rifle was one of the best in the world.

The APC backdoor was closed and in speakers, the voice of the comrade chairman Vladimir Illiouchine spoke:
“Comrades of NUSSR, brothers and sisters of all Russia, fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, we, as I speak, are officially at war with the New Persian Empire. In the valley, shells started to fly by and exploded in massive fireballs all around. The Armored Personal Carrier is now moving, the column is formed and T-2000 are slowly advancing. Helicopters fly low above the ground and start shooting. The artillery is still shooting and the sounds of war are spreading all across the Black Sea to the Aral one. The division is now in sight of his objective: a small exit in the valley commanding access to Iran. Heavy tanks are now shooting and anti-mines vehicle are advancing just before them.

Svorniov and his squad mates jumped out of the APC and started to walk toward the unknown, toward Persia…




SUMMARY OF NUSSR INVASION:
From D-Day to D-Day+1
-Caucasus advance is working on steadily. Bombardments were effective in reducing enemy morals, air forces and strongholds.
-Enemy garrison in Istanbul is surrendering. NUSSR is mainly controlling eastern part of it and have just captured two warships.
-Iran Front is the hardest one to break through, our forces are lighter and the enemy was ready for the assault. A whole new enemy armored army is counter-attacking around Samarqand. But without fuel, they won’t go far and our air force will reduce them to pieces.
-On sea, our Black Sea fleet has struck dead the Persian one and our battleships are shelling Istanbul and enemy lines in Caucasus.
-Our Air Force has attacked by surprise and destroyed 87% of enemy aircrafts on airfields. Persia won’t be able to get air supremacy.

The Dictator was on his porch enjoying the beautiful day. He didn't know he was being watched. His men covered every inch of the yard and noone could reach him, he was sure. Damn the Russians, he thought.

Those were his last thoughts, but the sattelite hardly knew that, although some would contest that it's powerful scope came close to it. It launched it's Rocket, laying waste ti the villa as Comet fighters began pushing to the atmosphere to lay waste to the millitary installations standing in the coalition's way.

Sattelite Icy Grip continued to float peacefully, it's test run succesful.

News from the front
Yerstuday at 9:28 Pm our Air bombers and fighters started droping bombs in all the Persian Empire, The Italian Empiral Navy sunked a hage number of Persian ships, in all the Mediterraneum and the Black Sea.

According to the report given to us from the Ministrer of Defense, The Italian forces had been doing a great job, and casualities among our troops are minimal.

The Italian Army attacked almost at the same time of the "Red Army" showing great coordination between the two plans.
Our Reported showed that our troops already had taken many cities on the north, Istambul, Ankara and they are now just outside of Tblisi.

A few minutes later the first wave of attack, another major attack was undertaken by our brave troops, 500.000 Infantry troops landed in the coast just south of Haifa, followed by other 20.000 Armors. Their landing invasion was assisted by huge bombing in all the area.

The jewish living there cheered our troops as "liberators". The main base of the Italian troops had been positioned there, between Haifa and Jerusalem.

More reinforces are to come the next day, so that our troops will be able to make a big push till Bagdad.

Persian counteroffensive in Palestine managed to destroy a small division that was there for scouting duties.


Greece welcomes Italy
yerstuday evening when our troops started puring into the Greek peninsula, one of the biggest revolt happened in Greece, every single man, and woman in the country cheered at our troops, and helped them in the fight with any means.

Many of te people living there even joined the Italian army in the fight.
"We have to free up our country" declared a young Greek "now the peninsula is free, and soon Crete, Rhodes and Cyprus will be freed as well"

New Soviet Union News from the Front Line:
Our invincible troops have moved forward into Iran encircling the Eastern Persian Army around Teheran. And our armies have met in South Iran. The 19th Shock Army and LVIII Army are now moving toward Baghdad. The enemy is in full retreat and abandoning vehicles. Our air strikes are crippling the enemy main forces and in now one week our armies shall take Baghdad with ease.

Our Allies have done great progress and we hope to finish this war soon. A new victory for the Red Army!

A cone poked out from the Persian soil. Infrared scans showed the afterburners deep within the ground were beginning their job, to carry their deadly load tov whatever destination. The world had been scarred enough by it's like already.....

The projectile waS absolutely tiny, dense enough to survive the atmosphere, but tiny. The sattelite had even managed to descover the molecular structure of the contents of the sattelite. Agent Orange, the same biological weapon that hit Australia years ago. The puncture began to seep the chemicals as the engine died, the engineers around it wondered what was happening. Agent Orange spread through the subterranean levels of the missle base. All of the Inhabitants of Persia's top Biological weapons center were dead, the computers died quicly as the generators also were aboloshed by the tiny meteors.

The T-2000 was slowly advancing in the suburbs of Baghdad crawling up a hill, his turret scanning horizon ready to shoot on sight. Behind him, laid the whole 155th Armored Division., the magnificent unit stood unvanquished from Caucasus to Iraq. Now victory was only ten kilometers away.
The major Korionov was looking for any enemy presence with thermal goggles. Nothing was in sight, only rubbles. His tank was now up the hill dominating with arrogance the whole city. As far as the eyes could see, there were ruins, destroyed and burned buildings, in front of them only waste could be seen. The tank roared forward.
In the sky, aircrafts were flying by, coming back to their bases in NUSSR territory to refuel and rearm. The war was nearly over.
Suddenly, the whole city erupted in fire from everywhere. The remnants of the once-glorious Persian Army opened fire.
Korionov’s tank was hit on the side.
“-Bail out, bail out!
-We are burning, it’s gonna blow.
This is Red Bear 1 to Red Thunder 1, under heavy fire, we need AIR STRIKE ASAP COORDINATES HOTEL-BRAVO 0102, I REPEAT HOTEL-BRAVO 0102. OUT.”
The tank blew up, smashed from all sides. The mighty tank was only smoke and burning steel.

“-This is General Chorniev, my whole main column is under fire from two hills, on the right. Give them hell boys.
-At your order, Comrade General.”

The massive 155mm rocket launching pads began a massive bombardment. Smashing from everywhere, the rockets covered the hills with smoke while the infantry moved in.
T-2000 and some rocket tanks covered them.
The fighting was harsh but the numerically superior Russian units were getting the edge upon Persian.
At the right flank of the 155th division, an Elite Shock Brigade was attacking. These forces were highly trained for close-combat and urban fighting. They cleaned houses after houses, bunkers after bunkers, using flamethrower to burn any recalcitrant enemy. They were advancing steadily even if Persian units were being thrown in to push them back.
A small NUSSR company, the Lenin one, had setup at a crossroad and was repulsing Persian tanks with grenades and mini-rockets while machine guns were slaughtering the infantry.

Up in the sky appeared four helicopters coming in, two of them fired a rocket salves on a tank column. The two Red Sharks then pushed down and flying low opened fire with their enormous rotating 40mm rounds. Shells bounced on tanks but massacred many enemy soldiers.
The other ones then came in and opened fire with anti-tank missiles blowing two of them.

The Lenin Company cheered as the choppers flew by and left only destroyed tanks behind them. The Company moved forward, covering each others. A platoon was advancing in the street from cover to cover, while the two others were covering it from buildings. Light machineguns were quickly setup and opened suppressive fire while snipers scanned enemy positions to seek any target.
The 1st platoon was divided in two squads alongside the walls; one of the squad burst in a house cleaned it while the other one covered them. When the building was clean, other platoons moved in. Just behind the company, was a small tank platoon, composed of two assault cannons, one flamethrower tank, a commanding one and a mortar half-track team. The whole of it composed an Assault Section. Four OAS formed a brigade.

The whole 19th Shock Army moved in, cannons opened fire and men, tanks, trucks, carriers rolled forward. Helicopters and planes stroke in once again.
The enemy was overrun. But without any to lose, they fought and died for their country. Russians were coming from everywhere shooting blindly in front of them. Shooting, running from cover to cover, they were advancing. The Lenin Company was once again leading the wave. There had been three days they were in the city now. But yet, they stood and bravely marched forward. In north was coming the LVIII army, 500.000 men ready to fight.

The Lenin Company was now in sight of the palace but across the street, hiding in the dark, were elements of the Imperial Guards, the Immortals, the best of the best, the glory of the Persian Army.

The Russian Company had suffered heavy losses trying to attack and tanks were burning in front of the palace door. It was a draw. But they were setting up mortars and assault helicopters were coming. The last attack was due in a few minutes. The time seemed to have stop, the world was looking at these Siberians who were going to win the war.

Artillery opened fire with a barrage of smoke. Tanks roared forward, on and behind them, soldiers were sitting or advancing. In the mist of smoke, the tanks like enormous steel beast and these little humans marching forward seemed like ghosts.
Bullets started to bounce on tanks armor or cut through human flesh. Screams of wounded filled the air like lost souls in hell. But men, looking inhuman in the mist, moved forward and firefights began.
Flame Tanks burned bunkers, the screams of burning Persians were horrible and the smell of burned flesh spread in the air. Machineguns replied and men started to fall on the ground. Casualties started to grow on both sides, but the Russian armors pressed on and forward. Rockets flew in their directions but only to bounce on the sloped, reactive armor of tanks. There wasn’t any hope for Persians. They blew themselves…Baghdad was in Soviet Union hands…

The war was over...

They are just taking control of the land from one empire and giving it to themselves. The people of the region will not tolerate rule by a foriegn power. They will rebel, they will revolt; trust me."

"What do you wish to do about the situation, President?"

"Nothing at the time. Besides, I don't really care about some patch of desert anyway."

Baghdad has fallen into NUSSR hands! Reinforcements coming from north and south east pushed further and the Persian army is now surrendering.

To Italian Empire(top secret):
I accept the proposal but the new Persian State must be on international control and NUSSR a part of it. And Baghdad should be under NUSSR full control.

(The New Persian Government shall be like this:
-30% NUSSR
-25% Italian Empire
-45% for ULS and Australia maybe 25% for Australia)

We hope the little different about the partitioning of Persia will not threaten our alliance.

NUSSR News:
NUSSR is proclaiming the new People’s Republic of Persia. The Republic wants to join NUSSR and a part of the former Persian Empire has joined NUSSR.

The Invasion Army is regrouping and reforming around the new borders of NUSSR.

To Australia:
NUSSR would like to sell you Mig aircrafts and could help with the training of pilots. Ours are now experimented with air combats and yours would benefit from this.

NUSSR wants to know if you will take part in the New Persian Government or if you will be neutral.

Persian war to an end
After the fall of Baghdad in Russian hand, the main remainings of the Persian Army had been imprisoned in Damascus by the Italians and in Al Kuwait by the Australian forces.

Even though some little battles are still fought in the South between wondering Persian regimets and the Australian army, but they rapresent little threat to Australia.
Anyway the Italian Airforce will soon join the Australian one in the Arabian peninsula, in order to definetly destroy any last threat.

To allies: It looks like we are all ok with the partitioning, We are ok with Baghdad being under NUSSR control (that's why in our last map we moved Persian capital to Bassora).

To NUSSR: No hard feelings, don't worry, we just tried to compromise between yours, and ours interests.
Anyway, we urge you, and Australia to discuss the terms of your entrance in our alliance. Since that was not yet officialized by neither three of us.

To the universe: With the end of the Persian regime, finally one of the biggest black spot of the universe had been cleaned.
Finally the former Persian people will be able to enjoy FREEDOM, and to live with dignity and without the danger of being murdered because of their believes or religion.
