Your troops did a great job in finding a small population of Genecoms living in Sardegna (The island off the coast of Italy).

They also managed to find a full message that the Sardegnan Genecoms transmitted to the Tuscany one.

Our friends on Philadelphia said they are ready to attack in about three years, they said they kidnapped a couple of families in order to make them 'produce child' that they can turn into Genecoms.
They declared that the majority of the Genecoms are still loyal to PM Trent, but the conspiracy is proceeding well.
We suggest some of you guys in Firenze to move into Nantes in France, it might be useful to overun the GDFR as well.

Looking at how the situation is growing the Italian army has been repristinated to Large. In order for our troops to defeat the Genecoms thanks to the numerical superiority.
I think we should alarm Germany of the danger as well, the situation is growing and the Genecoms are our of control.

With the last group of refugees to Venus, almost every space flight to any Italian colony has been canceled, the few still working have a very high level security.

Thank you for addressing our concerns. The NAF offers its support for the German annexation of France.

We feel it is our duty to warn you of a potential threat. As you recall, the creation of a Genecom army to combat the Incan clones was a decision the NAF High Council reluctantly made with great trepidation. The majority of our Genecoms remain in South America on duty in the occupation zone. However, we also have populations that have moved back into regular NAF territories, including the fallout zones. Since they are resistant and regular folks are not, it is difficult to monitor their activities in these zones. We also know of several groups of Genecoms which did went AWOL and are know to be living in Italian cities. Genecoms have superior physical characteristics but look the same as everyone else. They are very hard to identify visually. Still, a group of NAF police Marshalls in cooperation with the very resourceful Italian authorities have managed to track them down and spy on them.

We are alarmed at the indications of rebellion by the Genecoms. They are patient and trained in military practices. We must be viligant. We have reports indicating plots to overthrow the respective governments of the NAF, Italy, and the GDFR. We advise you to watch teh French city of Nantes as we have indications that some Genecoms are travelling there. The Italians may try to stop them from leaving Firenze but this might expose our spy network. We advise following them there but this is a decision the GDFR must make. We also advise watching your space fleet very carefully. Monitor all passengers. No Genecoms are currently know to be off the earth and we'd like to keep it that way. Genecoms have the potential to be excellent space marines, if given the appropriate training. But, we do not wish to give them any more power.

While their numbers are small, because of their superior characteristics and training, we are treating them as if they had 5 times the number of followers that they really do.

We suspect there are less than a thousand Genecoms currently in Italy and we have been fairly good at keeping our Registry up to date. However, once Genecoms pass into the radiation affected zones, our regular troops have difficulty following them. We know of at least 70 000 Genecoms travelling to radiation affected zones but we do not know if they are settling there or just passing through those areas to somewhere else.

We know 80 000 Genecoms were sent to the UK to help with rebuilding London. About 40 000 of those have returned to continental NAF soil. About 40 000 remain in the UK, mostly in the military detox crews but some have finished their military service and just decided to stay. Also, many of our troops worked along UK troops in South America. Many of these troops could possibly have moved to the UK, swelling the Genecom population there. However, we are reasonably sure that the technology for Genecom production is not available in the UK. The UK is also working very closely with us on this, but after the destruction of London, many of their records were destroyed and many of their best and brightest were lost. The new government in Manchester has done an excellent job in recreating Scotland Yard and MI6, but they are below strength - even this many years later. The Genecom situation there might be more serious than in continental NAF. We also know that the UK and France have a fairly open border, so there may already be Genecoms in France. Likely many are just there to enjoy the fine French wine and cheeses, but we can never be too careful.

While most Genecoms are law-abiding loyal citizens, this is of great concern to us. A few rebels can wreak tremendous havoc, as the Incan terrorists proved. We are also disarming many of our nuclear weapons where security might be breached. We are increasing security at other facilities. Our active nuclear arsenal is down 20%. We plan to cut this down further if our investigations reveal that Genecom rebels are in a position to compromise our security any further.

The public is largely unaware of all this at this time, and we fear pandemonium could erupt if this gets loose. We do not want another civil war in the NAF.

We have informed our Italian friends that the Philedelphia investigation has not found the missing families (the city is large and accurate records of it are hard to come by) but we do know where the families were abducted and who is giving the Genecom treatment. Our SWAT teams raided the labs of Dr. Henry Kildeer. Kildeer and his team of ten clinicians worked for GENEX CORP (licensed by the NAF during the Incan war) before starting their own blackmarket practice. Many people are freezing their embryos and sperm for later while they undergo Genecom treatment. Others are having children, and then taking the Genecom treatment. Some even give Genecom treatment to their children. This is dangerous as the effects of pre-pubescent Genetreatment are unknown.

Unfortunately, the lab had been abandoned days before. We found only a lowly file clerk in the process of destroying their records. Someone had tipped them off. We suspect that Kildeer's team underwent the Genecom treatment themselves and are now based in Philedelphia. We have a team tracking them now, though the city is large enough for them to hide anywhere. Also, our patrols are outnumbered by the 50 000 Genecoms now living there. Even without their heavy shielding, they are slow and cumbersome next to the Genecoms. Sending in a task force large enough to comb the city would tip off the Genecoms and they'd kick out our patrols. While they've pledge allegiance to us now, the mayor has indicated he is not pleased with our regular patrols. To even be on par with the Genecoms we'd need to send in a quarter of a million troops. We're still trying to keep this hush hush so that's not an option. We also don't want our Genecom army in South America to rebel if they hear we put the Genecom settlement in Philedelphia under siege.

On a positive note, we did find a list of citizens who were planning on joining the Genecoms. The waiting list for Kildeer's small 10 person clinic was over 2000 names of Kentucky citizens. We've since placed these people under careful watch and taken some of them in for questioning. We also discovered some other data files that they were unable to destroy in time. Kildeer didn't trust his file clerk with the urgency of the situation and so we were able tor ecover the files, but that also meant we couldn't extract Kildeer's current location from the clerk either.
Because Kildeer was operating blackmarket, he didn't always have the correct equipment. Some of the Genecoms may have unknown characteristics to us. Some of the data indicates that aberrant Genecoms may have accelerated healing, at the minimal cost of hair loss. Kildeer is known to be a man of great intelligence but little morals. We may be able to use that against him.


All Genecoms currently existing are NAF citizens but we suspect that they may be working to steal the technology for Genecom creation (to amplify their numbers as they are unable to have children of their own). We fear they may create Genecoms from your citizenry as well as ours. We are carefully releasing some top secret information regarding Genecom vulnerabilities to your top military command. It is essential that Genecoms do not get a hold of this information as they are not necessarily aware of all their vulnerabilities either. (We had some built-in failsafes for this eventuality. A certain enzyme is vulnerable to a very specific chemical. It begins to break down cells in the Genecom and the skin gets a slight blueish tinge. This chemical does not harm normal humans but can be used to identify Genecoms. We will provide you with several canisters of the chemical, which you can put in your water supply. It is not known to harm regular humans. The process is fatal to Genecoms over a three month period but can be reversed in the first two months. We will advise the Genecoms of an "error" in their treatment and that we can reverse it if they return home. We will not tell them that we purposely activated the error. Perhaps this can be used to entice the Genecoms to return to our treatment facilities where we can keep a careful watch on them.)

We should note that not all Genecoms wish to overthrow their governments and we should attempt to make loyal Genecoms feel a part of our countries. Most Genecoms remain very loyal to us and while we think we could trust them to combat any Genecom insurrection, we are not sure how many might be persuaded to switch sides. This will be a war of propaganda as much as military.

No, we fought a war for them ((Philippines)) and other South Asian Islands (see pg. 6) but withdrew after only taking one island and part of another, because of pressure to withdraw from several other nations. Since then our trading & diplomatic relations has gotten back to normal, and since the deadly nuclear attacks resentment is at an all time low
