I tend to take long breaks between stories...recharge my batteries. I'll have to get another compelling, original idea, too, and those don't grow on trees, sadly.

That was a fantastic story, you deserved to win the contest! The first story since Grendel's days that wasn't a complete bore. Your competition could learn a few things about writing from you!

Very good story
The main character for the Knights was a little weak, but other than that, you really did well, especially considering the limitations in length imposed upon you. Definitely the highest quality story of them all in this contest.If things get any better, I might have to hire someone to help me enjoy it!Comment
