    Rotten, definitely write more stories, yours are more enjoyable than others, an excellent representation of the Union.

      I tend to take long breaks between stories...recharge my batteries. I'll have to get another compelling, original idea, too, and those don't grow on trees, sadly.

          That was a fantastic story, you deserved to win the contest! The first story since Grendel's days that wasn't a complete bore. Your competition could learn a few things about writing from you!

            Been away from the Stories forum for a while but got back when there was a new contest winner... Good thing I did, congrats, this is easily the best story I've read here... Please write some more...

            Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards

                  Very good story

                  The main character for the Knights was a little weak, but other than that, you really did well, especially considering the limitations in length imposed upon you. Definitely the highest quality story of them all in this contest.
                  If things get any better, I might have to hire someone to help me enjoy it!

                    can't believe I didn't mention how great a story this is. i read it once before, and again because of that story contest. Rotten, this is a very enjoyable read! well-written
