Thanks The ending was anti clamatic. Just after I landed troops in england (me=Grundel) I won a darn cultural victory!!! Go figure. So lots of it i had to make up.

Also, every country signed an alliance against me except japan, and Egypt was the only real threat...however they never entered the war at all (in the game). That surprised me as well.

Thanks for the positvie feedback, everyone...and don't forget to vote

awesome story, looks like i will have to start reading the story forums. one question though. in my games i haven't seen this kind of war take place (unless i drag the rest of the world in with MMPs) so what level are you playing at? i am finsihing my second game at warlord, and plan on moving up to regent. hopefully it will become more of a challenege then

A great history, Grundel. Greetings... but I'd prefer the persians to win

then you must have really been whomping on then for all the other civs to come out you. has yet to happen to me, but i will be moving up to regent next game. just a heads up, you will notice a difference in difficult when you start playing warlord. i expect to hear the next story, and it should be a one filled with backroom agreements, heavy politicial struggels, and a knock out ending. good luck.

Don't you just hate it when you get a cultral victory? Now the only victories I allow is the Domination Victory, and the space victory. The rest are too easy to attain

When you see Grundel's name on a story you can be certain that it's going to be entertaining.
He hasn't posted in a while though...
                      What?

                          hehe

Yes Grundel did need to get surgery...and Grundel is back

Richelieu, thank you very much for your kind words. I hope i do your game justice when i complete your story.

As far as the question about how old do you need to be to write good stories...

As old you need to be to have a good imagination. the rest comes with practice. But, for your info, I am in my early thirties.
