I just called the EB here in Ottawa, Canada, and they said... not until the 31st! DOH!!!

I would kill to play that game right now!

Dublepost!? Here have I tried to post this past message in a long time, with only error messages as the result, and, then I get two replies with such a long interval?!

Can you provide us with some new screens? (So that I have something to dream of.) Also: How big is a Savefile Zipped/Unzipped. Could you attach one so that I have something too look into while waiting.

              YEEEEES!!!

              I GOT IT!!!

I called Chips & Bits about my preorder---they said not till Friday! So I cancelled.

I then left my office in a flurry of papers and went across the street to the EB in the Mall of Manhattan...et voila!

It's on my desk right now!

And only 45 minutes till I get to go home!!!!

I PROMISE to try and come back tonight and post a short early impression.

              Cheers.

                Another DC locale selling

EB in Bethesda, MD, (at Montgomery Mall) also says they're selling it now. But some other local EBs are hanging tough until tomorrow...

My EB in Cleveland says tomorrow. It looks like only the east coast is getting the game a day early. . .

I'm on the east coast and I have to wait till tommorow. (Miami-Dade)

Probably I'll go in the Afternoon so they time to get in their shipment.

I live in Gilbert now, I used to live in Mesa, and Best Buy is saying the game won't come in till Oct. 31, but for some reason I feel that they might be lying. So some time tonight I'm going to go down to Best Buy to see if the game is there. The reasons why I think they might be lying (no idea why they would) is because Saturday they said the game would be out Monday, Sunday morning they said the game would be out Tuesday, Sunday night they said the game would be out Wednesday, and today they say the game will be out Wednesday. Plus a bunch of other people are receiving the game. Ok so maybe the only reason why I think they are lying is just so I can play Civ3.
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

Thanks for the info, but I will only buy the SE out of a Best Buy store. The reason for that is I already put $10 down on a preorder for SE (wanted to pre-order LE but they didn't have it at the time), and I don't want (nor do I have the money) to pay $20 more at a EB than what I will pay at Best Buy.

You're right this is a great forum. I have seen a few other forums, and they don't even quite compare to the Poly forum. Except for a few certain somebodies, who have bought the game already, aren't supplying the info/screenshots other posters want. Myself I don't want the info because I want to be surprised, but I know other people do, so....
