I'm feeling quite upset when reading all the
messages under this thread. And jealous
too. Lucky yankees! Once again we have
seen how the gaming industry cares
more for the US customers, and treats
    the rest as "not-so-lucrative" customers.
AFAIK there's more people living in EU
than in US, and apparently the potential
ammount of customers is larger here
(especially when the consumption in US
    has gone down).

I can only hardly stay calm when I have
to think of my doom; mid-November.

Show me a Finnish product that's been released in the USA at the same time as it is first released in Finland. I had to wait weeks for EU from Sweden.

American car companies market their models in the US first then abroad. Any and every company does this with their products. It's about production costs and shipping.

Quit whining! You'll get it eventually. Does it really bother you that when I go home tonight, I will hop right into the game and start thwacking the Russians and coaxing the English with treaties, or that I will send my horsement out to raid barbarian camps?

      Don't answer that!

Pre-ordered from my local EB two weeks ago, got the call this morning that my copy had arrived. Picked it up on the way home from work and am getting ready to install it now.

Civ3 has arrived in San Jose!

the EB at Del Monte Center in Monterey, California recieved their shipment of Civ3 today at approx 12:00. I picked up my copy as soon as i got off of work at 5:40 today. My first game was

warlord (the second difficulty level, i forget what it was called in the game already, sorry ) as the Greeks (they are ALWAYS the first civ i play with in any new civ game) on a HUGE map, 16 civs. I had my ass handed to me on a plate. Do NOT piss the AI off. When they declare war on you, it's no joke.

Ok, i might browse the boards a bit, and then go play some more.
