Actually, four.

The out of date Civ3 the Demo game uses, Civ3 1.29 to support PTW, PTW, and eventually the patched PTW.

1.04 was a patch released the day of PTW's release. there is goign to be ANOTHER patch to make the game WORK somtime in the future (no date as of yet)

I already have two versions of Civ 3 on my computer and PTW. I don't want to have to install another version of PTW (my hard drive ain't the biggest thing in the world... even I can use up 30 gigs). Let's wait.

Your still gonna have the same problem in let's say 3 or 4 months.

I think starting on time is the most important thing.

Firaxis said in on of their chats that you can upgrade a game in progress to a new patch as long as everyone upgrades. Of course we have yet to find out how true that is... but none the less let's get on with it.

I can' t believe more people would rather wait until NEXT YEAR (THAT'S SIX MONTHS, PEOPLE) to start playing this game over starting on Dec 1.

There is no way I'm waiting that long, I'll just find a game somewhere else.
