I think it is still pretty cool now. Even more with some events happening now in our war that bring heat to all.
I love this place, this place got me into poly, this very demogame!!! I have learnt wonderfull strategies and great palls around; In fact, as for thrash talking, I think no one should get sad because of it, it is after all just thrash talking, and no one here wants to offend you, only your team´s crappy means of playing j/k

If some of you are not having fun right now, just think what it will be like when the all seeing eye puts out his AAR. I know that he asked me if he could quote me at one point and I would want to stick around just to see peoples reaction when they read it. If you get discouraged now and quit, you won't enjoy the AARs as much when its done.

The MM at this stage of the game can be a drag, but otherwise I'm having fun.

I'm sorry to hear the flamefests are driving people away, but I can't say I'm surprised. If I was in the middle of some of those threads, my fun might be killed too.

But please stop the personal attacks ... it is wrong to attack people personally now, you can attack postions and policies, but not people.

Some people seemed to take this act personally and attacked me as if i was the embodyment of evil, including many attacks personally. When we let things said, that are part of a game, tear us apart (which IS happening), then we need to step back some and take a breather from it. A lot of us have worked very closely on the original SPDG (and some still do with then new one). We have read insightful postings in various forums, have chatted online and formed a kind of camardery with several others on this site.

When a game threatens to drive wedges into all of that, it can actually jepardize more than this one game. It can drive a proverbial knife into Apolyton's heart.

We all need to step back and think with our heads and not our glands or we could be looking at a bigger problem, not only in this game, but any future demogames.

Right, on Aggie, I despise and loathe Roleplay for the way they forced us to not scout in the early game. I don't despise and loathe Arnelos, Togas, and E_T for that though, just Roleplay.
