The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

NAPOLEON BONAPARTE: Chickens who do not cross the roads, you do not govern them, you shoot them.

JULIUS CAESAR: Veni ad viam, Vidi Chicken et transeo viam. Vidi Chicken.

I went to the road, I saw a chicken, I crossed the road and gained victory over the chicken.

I rather liked the Voltaire quote
I tried coming up with my own Einstein quote about how the chicken is really skewed or is relative to its velocity but I couldn't come up with something funny enough to post...
Well, I still like my Seinfeld quote
"Close your eyes, for your eyes will only tell the truth,
And the truth isn't what you want to see,
Close your eyes, and let music set you free..."

VICTOR HUGO : My father, this hero with a so sweet smile, followed by a lone hussard whom he liked the most, told him : help the chicken to cross the road, though.

Lucifer: Chickens rather rule on that side of the road than to serve on this side of it.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Nathan Hale?

John Paul Jones would be more like, "I have not yet begun to cross roads with chickens."
