Reading Firaxis' accounts of their new 'turnless' mode has been interesting, to say the least.
The new turnless mode is the main reason I'm looking forward to PTW. If they get it right, I'll take back all the bad things I said about Firaxis.
Why?
Because I know first-hand how great a turnless Civ game can be.
Why is that?
Because I made the first ever "turnless" civ game, months before Civ 3 even came out.
I'm not saying Firaxis took this idea from me - not at all. It's the only logical way to completely eliminate waiting periods in multiplayer TBS games.
So I appeal to you Civ fans, those of you who are interested in the new turnless mode, to try my game, and see the potential for a complete multiplayer turnless civ game.
At the very least you will have a peak at what the new turnless mode might be like, and hopefully you will want to pick up PTW - it will be much better than my game.
