    Yeah, especially when you have lots of room, Expansionist lets you explore and optimally settle land quickly, and Commercial keeps your large empire more productive. A huge Pangea map would probably be best for England. Rather ironic, given that it's on an island in Real Life. Hm. Maybe if the English had started out on a continent, they would have conquered the world. (They did make a nice attempt, though, the Britich Empire covered one quarter of the world's land at one point, if I'm not mistaken.)

    I think Scientific is the worst trait in the game, though.

      Twenty-one. With eight traits, there are twenty-eight two-trait combinations. Nine traits, thirty-six. Notice the progression?

        With all these new civ's there is room for for more Civ-Specific-Abilities .

        This would only make the game more intresting .
        And we could choose how we "make" a civ .

          when PTW was annoucned there was much speculuation over new civ abilities... alas none of them made it in.

            Yes, I see the pattern: ten traits would yield 45 unique combinations.
