Man, I can't conceive of Firaxis commiting a folly as serious as making the Viking leader Brennus. That is unthinkable IMHO. Here is an excerpt from http://www.ironage.demon.co.uk/brigantia/tigtch.htm

If we know 6 of the Civs, I can guarantee you who the 7th is, the Inca! We need an american civ, plus they were included in the Civ 2 text files. I guarantee either the Inca or Maya are included.

The 8th and remaining civ is a total mystery it has to be a middle eastern civ and could be the Arabs, Isrealites, Turks, Ethiopians, Malians....

That's pretty cool. I wonder if it will have kill flag enabled from the box, or only modded. My hope would be the former, as to trigger the GA and play GoTM/other maps.
