You can use modification to create a Jewish civilization. (I even made a Zionist faction for Alpha Centauri.) Anybody who stops playing because of something like that is just being stupid. Do any English people not play Civ3 because the English are in it?

I had assumed the only reason the Jews were wanted is for Jew Bashing. It is then offensive.

A jewish Civ would be cool, with King David or whomever. I wonder what those who have the hitler head would do? Would they have the Germans with Hitler and the Jews in the game? Tht is quite distasteful to me.

Yeah, that would be useless. There's an inundation of Hitler shows on the History Channel at the moment. Some freaks would undoubtedly use the game to "correct" the outcome of World War II if Hitler were in it.

No matter which civilizations you include, someone is going to be unhappy major-league. In Mongolia they're probably boycotting the game already because they're not in it.

Anyhow, here is a list of what I would personally like to see:

1. Spanish
2. Vikings
3. Mongols
4. Turks
5. Koreans
6. Portuguese
7. Dutch
8. Khmer

Some other interesting civs for me would be: Arabs, Huns, Celts, Assyrians, Berbers, Indo-Malays, Polynesians, Vietnamese, Tibetans, Malians, Ethiopians, Pygmy, Inca, Navajo, Amazons, and Eskimo.

Oh yeah and Penguins, too!
