That's six right there... the other two will probably offend people since everybody will be saying "Hey! My nation should have been the new one!" Of course, thats if its an existing country.

I doubt we'll see a Southeast Asian civ because they've always been ignored.

I think the last two will be the Arabs and the Incans.

Now, how about UU's? REMEMBER: This is not what you WANT, but what you think will be done...

Spanish : Conquistador
Vikings : Longship
Celts : Woad Warrior
Carthaginians : Another Elephant unit?
Mongols : Mangudai
Sioux : Plains Horseman??
Arabs : Camel Rider (Mameluke probably)
Incans : Sun Warrior

And then there'll be a big law suit by AoE for stealing their UU's

I have to disagree with you on every point. While Windows has become pretty ubiquitous, single industry towns have failed before, and I can't fathom the fate of an entire civilization built around any one industry, even if it's MS Windows.

Spanish
Vikings/Scandinavians
Celts (one of the few I'd REALLY like to see)
Mongols
Incas
Koreans (and no, it wouldn't have anything to do with getting Korean gamers to buy the upgrade :P )

That's 6. Honestly, I have no idea what the other 2 would be. That pretty much covers it, IMO.

Wonder if the Celtic capital would be Dublin? Hmm....

UUs:

Spanish: Conquistador (though, probably foot as opposed to the horseback AoE version)

Vikings: Longship

Celts: No idea. A swordsman of some type, no doubt.

Mongols: Mongols were famous for cavalry in general, not just cavalry archers. I'd actually invision it to be a Mounted Spearman type unit.

Incas: Really, I have no idea. I'd say it would be an extra movement archer.

Koreans: Skirmisher. Long range spearman.

I'd certainly like to see these civs included in the expansion pack, but I somehow doubt that's what Firaxis will do. But maybe... I mean, they've veared away enough from Civ2 already so that they might not put in all the original civilizations first.

Not trying to be funny, jackass. I just see all these "Apolytoners" in the Civ3 General forum being misled, and it makes me want to puke.

I can just imagine one of you retards started XP = expansion pack and the rest followed because their small existence pales in comparison to text on internet bulliten boards.

XP is a lot easier to type than expansion pack. Especially when you do it repeatedly.

Back ON TOPIC...

The civs I think might have a chance of getting in:

- Spanish
- Carthaginians
- Celts
- Vikings
- Mongols
- Arabs
- Incas
- Koreans

So therefore I agree with much of the consensus here.

As for UU's, Spanish = Conquistador, Carthage = ??? Some kind of elephant (elephant archer maybe), Celts = Woad Raider, Vikings = Longboat (or Berserker), Mongols = Mangudai, Arabs = Mameluke, Incas = ???, Koreans = Turtle ship

Sure a lot of them are the same as the UUs in AOE II, but that's because there is some history behind such units.
