) This war was started by a Korean invasion of the Mongol nation and the destruction of 2 or 3 unimportant Mongol cities.
As for galciv, I dont plan to buy it. My gut feeling is that it is more of a micro-management game than I like. The two aspects that would draw me in are absent, good tactical combat and eye candy.
Get Smac/x, download the patches/expansions (unlike civ3, the smac patches fixed a few glitches but added features to the game) and enjoy.
