This may or may not be a dumb question, which is why I have to ask: is there any way of viewing battles that do not happen during your turn in PBEM? Sir Ralph may have attacked me with 10 Warriors or 1 MA, and I would never know...

But I wonder why you ask, you should have seen my attacking unit this turn with your Scout and Impi on the mountain (or can't you see over jungle, ).

Sigh, this turn it were the white barbarians, next turn it will be probably the black barbarians again.

One more logical exercise for Shaka : It can't have been a slow unit, or else you would have seen it when you ended your turn. There are no roads around. I can build 2 fast units, one of which can't attack on jungle. So remains, what?

a) Cavalry
b) Modern Armor
c) Horseman
d) Frigate
e) Banana

Seriously, the lack of ability to see battles as a defender takes some fun away. but an agreement to write a battle report and send it to your adversary both gets you the right to make snide remarks and returns some of the fun to him. It's working ok in other games.

Yes, I agree that an account of the battle by the attacker is a great idea. Let's start doing it.
(Too bad the damn barbs don't do the same though)

Sir Ralph, although I like it when you formulate logical exercises for Shaka, He is quite capable of doing them himself. But there will be times when guesswork will not lead to definite answers. The Mighty Zulu will then be left in the dark, and They get angry and vicious when that happens.

Jumping out of game-mode, this is so something Firaxis should address in another patch. Problem is, PBEM is not exactly their priority. Sigh...

I'll send in a couple of minutes, but will not post again.

Sorry, I didn't intend to insult Shakas intelligence. It was a joke, not more, and perhaps I misunderstood your concern in the previous post. Your Impi was killed by the 1st Arabian Mounted Regiment, which took moderate losses. That's my first battle account, more to come, unless you finally withdraw your terrorists. Don't you fear the Jihad?
