        • Unfortunately, our Strat PBEM game 1 crashed at 1500 B.C., so we are starting another one.

However, before we start, we would like to have someone take a look at a generated map to make sure it's not unbalanced. Would someone who is not playing in that game volunteer to do that for us? It shouldn't take more than 3-4 tries with the map generator in the editor.

Procedure: generate the map, attach the AU MP mod rules, start a MP scenario (make sure the difficulty is Emperor), send the save to the first player, and then take the blame for everyone's misfortunes.

To the person exploring my border: please remember that if you end turn in my territory I may remove you by force.

                  • Hehe. Must be an expansionist ("end turn"). How many expansionists do we have? Guess we know about the first contact.

                    Turn sent to the expansionist.

                    • Sent. OK, DaveMcW, you research towards Monarchy while I go for all the military advances. Does that sound fair?

                      • Once you decide to gang up, you should keep this in secrecy. The walls have eyes and ears, you know.

EDIT (to be more clear): No diplomacy in the turn tracker thread, please.

                        • Ralph, it's not ganging up, it's cooperation. You have to be more constructive and play nice with your neighbors.

                          • Either way, these things have nothing lost in the turn tracker. And I always play nice with my neighbors. Unless the try to blackmail me, that is.

                              • I have nothing against diplomacy in this thread, as long as the information revealed would have been OK to send to each player individually.

In this case we were not supposed to know that Nor Me is close to Dave, since we probably all don't have contact with either of them.

As stated in the AU PBEM thread:
Always follow in-game mechanics for diplomacy. For example, don't contact other players until you have actually met them in the game, don't trade mini-maps until you have Map Making, and don't form military alliances until you have embassies.
