I'm not sure we made connections correctly on this first turn, but we will soon. Meantime, I found a good guy to act as a substitute for any of us when we have to be away for a day or, if it stays this cold, for a couple of weeks. I'll get you his email address tomorrow.

Is there a rule that we can't play when it's cold?

I've played and will send to alemxan. The start was better than being poked in the eye by a sharp stick.

BTW, I loaded from the SP screen after not getting anywhere on the multiplayer screen. We've been doing this without problems in several other games but I'm happy to learn how to do it right. Just didn't want to hold up the parade.

As vondrack says, there never have been problems, if you load it from the main (SP) menu from a newly started PTW.

Sent awhile ago. Wwe are off to a decent start.

I have found a good guy who volunteers tol play turns for us when we are unavailable. That will make the game flow much faster. Will pm you off line with his name and email address.

I'm not that enthousiastic about someone else playing our turns, but if that's what everyone wants, I can live with it. Will he step in when we have delayed playing for a while, or when we are going to be away for a long time?

With this group, I would leave it up to the player to request that someone stand in for him. Much of the time, there is no big decision to make and it's helpful for all concerned to have a neutral party to keep the game rolling.
