Having given the matter some thought as a friend and I have started a PBEM game, I'm wondering if anyone else out there uses a code of conduct when starting off their PBEM games?
For example, in order to get the game up to the point where you're going to have something to do each turn, our first rule is:
"All players taking part in the game will agree a time to be on-line at the start of the game for a period of X hours"
Other rules we're considering are:
"Each player shall be allowed one chance to ask for the game to be restarted due to having a poor starting postion. This option will expire for all players after X number of turns."
"Each player shall commit to playing a minimum number of turns a day (most likely 1), unless agreement is reached with the other players for a brief break from the game (to account for holidays etc)."
