I can't play this week because of the new job. The education office expects me to stay in the town where I'm teaching 24/7. I was also warned not to speak Korean to anyone because it reduces peoples' motivation to speak English. So I'm supposed to speak English to the old ladies in the market selling rice and spices? A bit wacky. Anyway, this week I will stay in that town until Friday and from next week I will sleep there a few nights a week and then come home for a few nights a week. I'm hoping I will get my own computer at work or least on that's shared with the person next to me. Then I can install Civ3 when nobody's looking and take my turn after school before I go home.

The school gave me a crappy computer that doesn't have enough hard drive space for Civ. There's a common computer in the faculty room that I think I can use after hours. I'll try that on Monday.

              Sorry about this.

                      • I asked my coworker to let me use her computer after work and she agreed! I loaded up Civ3 and PTW and I'm almost ready to go. I have to fix a font problem first
I should have that taken care of by the time my turn comes around.
                        Yahoo!!

Say, we're using an unpatched version of PTW for this game, right?

                        • You will need to patch to 1.14 I think. Just the PTW 1.14 patch though, nothing else should be necessary.

                          • That patch is no longer available at the civ3 website. I have it on my home computer but I'll have to wait until the weekend to get it. Is it downloadable from Apolyton? Or could someone send it to me by e-mail?
Or should we all upgrade to the newest patch?
