  • ok. I have edited the first post to include the following information:

    1. SirOsis - Babylonians sirosis@hotmail.com
    2. Clegg - Greeks jbirdsall at comcast dot net
    3. jshelr - Egyptians jshelr at aol dot com
    4. Ananias - Scandanavians ananias101 at msn dot com
    5. WarriorPoet - Celts kchivers at optonline dot net
    6. Tom Red - Persians dermot dot kehoe at blueyonder dot co dot uk
    7. Swissy - Ottomans markbalt at ameritech dot net
    8. Conqueror - Arabs conqueror123 at suomi24 dot fi

The formatting isn't the best but it will allow for everyone to know who is next and the emails of each player. If you don't mind your email address posted without all the "at dot" etc let me know since I think it really is a pain. You're gonna get spam anyway so get those filters going.

    • I have also set up a yahoo group for this game. I think it will help with the turns if the files are in one place and easier to follow than this thread. I will send out invites. It is my first time trying yahoo groups so if anyone has experience, bad or good, let me know.

sounds good, but my game address has changed since the first post. Can you edit it to ananias_pbem at yahoo.com? (underscore included) That's also the address I already use for my yahoo groups.

          thanks

            • Ok. I think yahoo might work for us. You can have it send out an email whenever a file is uploaded or a message posted. That way we will always know what is going on automatically. We also have 20MB of storage so that should be plenty.

I have set up the file section with folders labelled "Turn to Player" Where player is our names. So when you need to send a turn just put it in the appropriate folder.

I also have set up a table in the database with all the names, civs and emails for quick reference.

If only yahoo would let me log in always the same error message.

                    • Swissy, please replay your turn, adjust properties to something different before saving, and resend to me. The current one is bugged. I'll PM this to you too.

                      • New patch, 1.21f

I play online, at least a dozen games a week. Just about all online players have installed the new patch. So, I have installed the new patch. The corrupted turn was played before the install. This re-do turn has been done after. I play way more online and will not do a second PTW installation. So I'd advise either everyone install patch or find a player to take my spot. Note that there is no UK(Euro English) or German version of the patch currently available.

                        • I still have no luck loading the game, tried with both 1.14 and 1.21 versions

I'll forward the save to SirOsis with my password and tell him to play my turn. I hope he gets the save opened.

I can load up the turn and get to the password screen. This would not be good if this conyinues to happen. I will try sending to you from a couple of different email accounts, see if that is the problem.
