There's two other things I have had changed, but not in PTW. Those things are:

Americans set to sci/ind
Scout/explorer have an increase of 1 in movement

As far as I remember, I haven't had other changes than those

Save sent to Calc (I sent it last night actually, but just thought I'd let people know where it is).

Save succesfully recieved. Spam filter now recongizes that email address.

EDIT: Alright guys, take a deep breath. I got a "NOT A VALID SAVE FILE" message. Im gonna try redownloading and if this doesnt work FP has to resend it to me.

Double EDIT: Yeah I need another save. Its not working at ALL

Here's what we need to do::

First of all, FP needs to resend me that save. The one that works hopefully. Check to see if it works for you if you havent deleted it already. If not try replaying the turn and save again and see if you can load the game.

Also, in my other PBEM game with GhengisFarb, unorthodox and hot_enamel (I know.... all GoWs... :eep: ), we made four games and voted for the best save file. The one that got least amount of points (rank being points) and preferrably didnt have any 4th ranking vote was chosen as the game. This way we can avoid further restarts in case someone lands on starting position similar to GoW's fake one in PTW demo forum.

Sounds like a good idea calc, allthough I'm not sure I understand it 100%

You're using hotmail too, aren't you?

In my other PBEM game, I also have trouble downloading the file (The player who sends to me, also sends the file to himself, so he's checking if the wrong-file-size error comes from the sending or the recieving. He gets the correct file, but I don't... so it seems to be a hotmail problem )

I have an ftp open, so he can send the file to me, but I guess I can't share that one for now, since not all have played their turn, so not everybody has set a PW yet... Do you have an ftp, he can send to?

I'll replay my turn and send you the file again Calc. Maybe it is a hotmail problem, but in using hotmail to download the saves for my PBEM's there have only been file corruptions twice, and I've been in 4 or 5 PBEM's so far.

It's usually not a problem, but lately it has been a problem.

I usually use msn-explorer (as e-mail program), normally it has a special msn-explorer email page, but about 3+ weeks ago they changed it, so we're only using the standard hotmail site, through msn-explorer... It shouldn't cause any problems, but it might be because they're doing some new stuff to the email system...

played as soon as i got a msn popup. Save is corrupted.

In a 4 player game with gf, unortho and Hot_enamel, there was no problem with hotmail.

also the turn you sent me the first time (the one with ur turn unplayed) worked perfectly fine and that was thru hotmail
