It's not always it goes wrong with hotmail, I have had about 2 corrupted saves since I started the other PBEM game...This space is empty... or is it?Comment

FP, send it to me (The save for Calc), if I get a corruption error, we know where it originated. If it's ok, hmm, no idea then.
I could try to forward it.
In our game, we havn't had any probs yet, have we.
Maybe the error occurs when sending it, not recieving.
I've got some voodoo repellent standing by too, just in case...Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Guys, I am still following this thread - even though Tibi is now back online, ready to play his turn, if it ever comes to it - just for sheer humour value... 
Try ZIPping the SAVegame, it may help... ZIP is a much more standard format than SAV for any email provider. If even ZIPs get corrupted, then the provider would be flooded with complaints and would be likely to fix the problem ASAP.Comment

We should calculate how long this game will last based on the duration of the first turn. Our grandchildren will have to finish what we started
Edited: Oops, we can't do that. We can't measure the length of the first turn, because we didn't finish it yet.
