It is with a worried perspective that Major General Lord Duke Wellington sends a rider with despatches over to allies pressing home the attack to the north of Bryansk.

We have suffered many casualties in the siege of Bryansk, and though we have fresh troops on the way we are in need of relief urgently.

I have seen the Russians attack your posistion this turn and I am sad to say they have defeated one of your units, though I cannot see them.

You have though, drawn fire away from my guns and for this I thank you good Sir, please pass on my deepest sympathies to the families of your fallen heroes

My reinforcements should arrive on the scene next turn

It is good to have strong allies!! and none have stronger than we the British!! Thanks Emporer Paddy, for you have relieved the beleagured troops holding siege at Bryansk. There was a real danger that Russian forces may have broken out and smashed the siege, but now there hopes have vanished with the arrival of your grand Armee'

We too now have fresh reinforcements arrived and the artillery core can again breathe a sigh of relief. We do however have other less wanted allies just arriving in the region, the Turks and we would truly hate to see them capture any Russian cities in this region.

It is without doubt that we expect to see a future conflikct with the Sultan, for he has blatantly refused to apologise for his earlier trespass into British sovereign territory.

The clean up of Cathies lands continues
The Ottomen took another city, yet there is quite a buffer between our lands now

So to Spain for you.

So I will regroup the Grand Armee amd be prepared for the march on the Ottomen.

Your plan meets with our approval Emporer Paddy. We would ask though if you could restrain your self for a time so as to prepare fully for the battles ahead.

We would like to assist in any way possible and would ask to timeshare istanbul with you so we both may gain access to the southern expanses of the turkish lands and the black sea respectively.

We would like to establish a naval base somewhere in the black sea but would require passage through istanbul to move a sizable fleet into those waters.

(civ 4 needs canals!!)

We are sending several transports to southern Italy to collect troops for embarking on a journey to visit the Sultan in person.

Careful study of the maps available would be worthwhile to plot all the Sultans saltpeter mines. A nice dastardly strategy would be to use ROP to get units to all such sites then systematically sever his access at a stroke to gunpowder at the outbreak of hostilities.

A long shot but most satifying if it could be achieved
