the save i sent loads up with 1.22 fine, it asks for england's password.

you sure you loaded civ3 1.22 ?

crashed twice more trying that

closed it all - rebooted and retried - same error report

SM, could you please replay it and send it again

i forwarded you the save again. i attached my screenshot so you can see

nothing should be crashing when you overwrite a save game. that's weird

it still crashes

I have loaded other game saves, and they are all fine
