    1st fleet continues circumnavigation of home island.

      After turn sent.

      The Galley with the two Catapults critical to the invasion of the Viings has passed up the other Archers who are making their way across the beginnings of the deserts and plains just south of the Vikings.

      The other Galley has picked up some Settlers from the western shores of the Russian Empire and will ferry them to their new homes across the channel. While there the Galley will pick-up the Scouts and Warriors who have been enjoying their isolated vacations that will soon end.

          After turn 115 sent.

          The Galley in the west has disembarked its Settlers and will continue westward to pick-up the Scouts next turn and drop them across the other channel the following turn. After that they repeat the process for the Warrior who was stationed watching the southern tip of the western islands channel.

          The galley, Horsemen, Archers, and Warrior continue their manuevering northward into attack positions.

          Traded world maps again with the Aussies and hope that the Aussies understand to keep our maps confidential once we remove the Vikings from the north. However tempting it may be to trade our world or territory maps to the other powers once we meet them. Usually they can be obtained without revealing the strategic map positions and locations of our cities.

            Gotta get some more turns in as Rickety and I are gaining ground quick in our two player.

            Will be on-line for a while working on the new scenario I mentioned in the other thread so if you are around chime in and we can continue.

            The new mod make take longer than expected as I found a wonderful new resources.pcx with so many new resources its gonna blow you away. Great terrain features too. I cn hardly wait to finish the intial stages of modifications and get it ready. Loking like maybe a couple of weeks rather than this wekend though. Too many good ideas keep rolling in.

              ITS WAR!!!!!!

              Reports have arrived back in town today of action in the mountains south of Viking territory. Apparently a Viking scout called out rude names to the Australian swordsmen and they reacted by cutting off his head. A usual Aussie traditional response to name calling.

              The Viking leader sent immediate word that this insitgated a state of war betweein our two nations...

                After turn 116 sent.

                The Russian Generals think the Aussies attack in the south may have been premature but might be wrong as the Vikings might begin to shift troops towards the south. If so then the planned Russian landings on the north coast will be more a surprise with the Viking defenders moving to the south to attack the Aussies crossing the mountains. Perhaps the Vikings will get stuck on the killings fields of the open areas in between the mountain ranges where the protection of the mountains cannot protect them so well.

                The Galley containing the Catapults is moving north from the Viking side of the killing fields on the western coast. Their are a few Wariors, Archers, and a Scout moving across the edge of the northern mountains towards the planned beachhead for the catapults landing.

                In the West the Settlers picked a nice hill top that overlooks the channel on the western island for a new city site. The galley picked up the Scouts from the same island and will drop them across the other western channel on the now unknown land mass and then pick-up the Warriors to the south and deliver them across the channel as well.

                      After turn 117 sent.

                      The Galley in the West delivered the Scouts and will pick-up the Warriors next turn.

                      The Galley in the North ran across an Aussie Galley and asked her Captain to exchange his charts of the Waters to the North as the Russians are sailing the Cataputs around the Northern tip of the continent soon.

                      The troops in the killing fields are making their way across and into the Mountains headed for Stavenger were they hopefully will rendevous with the successfull invasion force after it lands further to the north.

                      Russian cities and infrastructure continue to be built growing the industrial power house that they one day will soon become.

                          Moving into preplanned attack positions in the North and acepted the charts of the Aussies.

                              The western land mass may be bigger than we thought but its still covered in tundra so far.

                              The Galley in the North is rounding the northwestern tip of the continent as the Archers and Warrior are waiting outside the city radius for them to arrive. The southern group is entering the Mountains on the Viking side of the killing fields.
