Ok, this game can be upgraded to 1.22
with great thanks to Alexman.
there is some mucking with biq files.
I am happy to do the game files upgrade to get this game from 1.15 to 1.22
all it then needs is for each of you to load the 1.22 upgrade\

Okay, well I guess that option could be number 3.
I did look at that, but didn't like the thought of pissing about with bic files and the like.
If we agreed to this option then it would probably be wise to have a dual install, v1.22, and v1.22 (1.15) – the latter being the 1.22 version with the modified files so that it is compatible with v1.15.Originally posted by alexman
Find the old conquests.biq, conquests.mb, and civilopedia.txt files. Hopefully you still have them somewhere, otherwise you can get them by extracting the 1.15 patch into an empty folder.
Backup your 1.22 conquests.biq, conquests.mb, and civilopedia.txt files, and replace them with the 1.15 ones. You should then be able to load 1.15 saves with the 1.22 patch.
After you finish your game, restore the 1.22 files.

Now there's someone who I wouldn't have expected to pop in! How are you Caligastia? Yes been a bit slack on the old Rugby thread, my online time seems to be taken up with PBEMs these days. I'll be sure to check out how the bickering is going. The Crusaders will win!
