Spain has magnamiously offered the Duke of Bordeax chance after chance to repent of his wicked ways. Our last offer even went unanswered. Unasnswered except for a nasty dispatch from the WitchQueen of Britain, Lezziebeth the Evil. England states that France refuses to agree to a ceasefire on French holdings and units until Spain agrees to not attack British ships!
Ha! France is willing to cease to exist so that England might live. Yet it twas England that twisted France into this folly. Twas England and ONLY England that gained Dutch cities. England has taken and occupied more French holdings than Spain has. England is France's ally and Spain is France's enemy, yet England has NEVER given France any of her holdings back while Spain gave France back Paris!

Newflash! Divine Battle of Seville. As the morning dawned in Seville, the citizens noticed a sinister ship ooze from a dark evil hellspawned fog. Lies will not save the idolatrous Spanish papists from the wrath of the English Lion.
We are prepared to accede to a peace treaty that forbids attacks on all cities in europe, including islands offshore, recognises Spanish rights to South America and forbids attacks on New World settlements in the area allocated to that nation.
However, such a treaty must also accept English rights to all the islands of the Caribbean Sea. Further, such a treaty cannot be taken to infringe or impede the rights of English captains to take action on the high seas where they consider it necessary to further England's interests.
If such an agreement can be reached then England will abjure continental warfare alongside Spanish and French denunciation of such war. For the sake of peace such a treaty should be taken to include Portuguese interests as well as those of the main powers.
England's last dispatch to Spain
Please note that England is holding 3 cities on mainland europe in trust for France, to whom they will be transferred when France wants them. If Spain attacks them, that is effectively an attack on France.
You had your chance for peace, the magnanimous English offer is withdrawn. When Spain is ready to beg for a peace treaty, such a request may, after some time for reflection, be considered.
Let the world see and judge the Spanish lies before God. Let the evil and decadent idol worshippers burn in the hellfire of just condemnation!
On behalf of the suffering French nation - I, Beta, Comte de Calais, hereby accept the generous peace terms offered by the Spanish.
I am also pleading for Peace with the Portuguese - in exchange for our city of Bordeuax. I also commit to no attacks on Portugal in Europe - and relinquish all rights to settlement on the South American continent.
France would dearly like to move to a peaceful, building society, and regrets its aggressive actions in the recnt war.
