Bad news, gentlemen: I have serious hardware problems. I'm getting a BIOS POST error that halts boot-up procedure. It seems to indicate that something is wrong with processor. I refuse to pay $$$ to have someone else troubleshoot/fix. I will fix myself but it may not get done immediately (due to lack of experience & perhaps money).. Better find a replacement for me. Sorry for the inconvenience.Comment

If bfg is unable to continue I would be inclined to restart (we've only played 2 turns IIRC) and give Beta a choice of France or Portugal if he is still interested.Never give an AI an even break.Comment

I'm real hesitant to starting it up with so many people who won't even post whether their willing to play or not. We've had several people completely drop out of all their pbems just after they started and I would like to get one going thats going to stay going.Comment
