So - I have received the save - it says 4000bc not 4050bc. But it does have the 'hit enter to end turn' thing flashing. Do I play this turn, or just hit enter and pass it on. The instructions/dialogue above has me confused. Please advise.
Thank you fellow citizens of this brave new world.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

He did something really weird and fortified all the units while starting the geam in 4050 and playing the first turn.
So you need to type "admin" and set whatever password you want, then unfortify all of your units and play your turn.
OK - the ancient city of Atlantis has been resurrected. All the 'younger' civs in this world, pay homage to your ancestry. (ie - send gold)
Turn going to BF.
Also - the rule on in-game diplomacy only, which I fully agree with btw - but can we clarify.
I presume it to mean no out-of-game contact until civs have met. Once they have - then they can communicate via PM and e-mails. Or - is this limited to strictly the trade screen as well.
Also - I presume no form of map trading (ie screen shots and the like) until map trading within the game is allowed.
And a big BTW, since I just re-read the entire thread, I am glad I am in this game with ALL of you. xoxo

No restriction, although I don't know what game related theme the trade screen wouldn't cover. Email diplo is there to accelerate the trade screen negotiations, since you don't have a "they would never accept such a deal" advisor here.
What concerns map trade, so maps should be traded only in-game. So no minimaps per email, but TMs and WMs in-game.
Later in the game, allies can of course exchange screenies of the theater or war, since it's pretty clear that both already have the in-game maps of it.
What about common names for landmarks like mountain ranges, lakes, islands, capes etc., once they are discovered? If yes, how will we coordinate them and avoid double names?

I would think the discoverer would get first dibs at naming landmarks, rivers, mountains, etc.
Sort of like in the Naval PBEM, you should get to name that island you discovered.
Perhaps a rule where you post a screenie (just the area you are naming, no minimap or anything) and declare your discovery and name?
Sounds like a good idea, except for one thing. Some areas might still get double named because of different terrain graphics. I use all standard graphics except for the "Urban Sprawl" graphic (Nothing like seeing the entire countryside with houses and suburbs).

I thought I posted my new address in all the PBEM game forums but I must have signed up for this game after that. Sorry.
