Well, this was the advice I posted to Kermit in another game that we're both in:
But so far, there hasn't been a response back from him.Are you sure you placed them in the PTW save directory and not the Civ3 save or the Conquests save directories?
To make sure that you have the right directory, just start-up a single player PTW game and save it after the first turn. Then when your copying over the PBEM PTW saves, you should see your single-player save already in the saved directory. This will indicate that you are placing the save files in the proper directory.
I'm not sure if you've tried this yet, but it couldn't hurt...

So you can't read the file from Wittlich? Do a search using the filename in windows to locate the file.Comment
