PITA is one alliance of bad guys, the other being the Evil AIs - Babyon & Aztecs are the civs in that one I believe?

PITA stands for Pain In The... er... Appendix. Yeah, that's right, it's like they're an infection.

Well, looks like my warrior can just slip by the eastern chinese borders, at least for now. Good thing I'm getting an explorer out there while I can.

HEY! I just noticed I'm "Queen" Daddy-O of Egypt! Oh well.

      PITA - funny.

In 10 I should have another settler.

Heh, sorry about that. I didn't think to edit titles when I was
        starting the game.

Nice. I'm about 12 turns away from my next settler, from my capital.
Building up military in the meantime - cheap Enkidus mean that I have
plenty of defensive units, but on the other hand, it's going to cost
me some gold to maintain them all in the turns leading up to the third
        city being founded.

I've been thinking about where to go longer-term. It looks like I'm on
a long peninsula jutting southward out from the continent, with China
being what will eventually stop me in the north. Problem is, my
capital is right in the Southeast corner of the area I may be able to
grab, with nothing but tundra to the south and ocean to the east. Not
a good place for its anti-corruption effects. I'll probably have to
        move the palace north.

You aren't going to let me live that down for a while, eh? Fair enough.

YOU live it down? I am the one in a dress married to my Egyptian brother.

              Really it's no big deal.

I decided to start walking an archer towards the Aztecs, just to say, "Hi". Maybe I can get a tech or two from them before I bring them to their knees.

                All right then.

We'll see what the Aztecs have then. Just be careful, Emperor AIs usually don't lack for units, since they start with a few and can build them a bit quicker than us. If the mil advisor says you're weak to them, you might not want to press things too soon.

Aztecs have 3 cities (2 listed on trade screen) and Wheel, Mysticism, & Iron Working. I have nothing to offer.

We need to get together. Maybe I should build a boat soon.

Since we have contact anyway, I'm not sure how vital it is we get together at the moment. I'm already nearly certain I can't transport troops across land (unless I've missed a land connection somewhere - I just sent another Enkidu out to check on that possibility). And I can't use galleys until Map Making.

It would be nice to know where we are, though, for future possibilities. I've switched my archer build to a Curragh to start the effort, hopefully it will yield actual geographic contact. (My build plans should all still work out, and the archer can always come later.)
