Slightly modified WW II in Europe scenario (mostly Germany nerfed -- based on what happened in the first game), different nations played.

Scenario files (required to play). Unzip into the Civ3\conquests\Scenarios folder:

I also made a version of the scenario which features changed graphics for some units (ships, Panzers, Heavy Tanks,) but it is 16 MB, and I have nowhere to put it. If you want the file, PM or e-mail me, and I will send it via e-mail.

EDIT: Fixed text file. It was missing the entry for Advanced Infantry, and would cause a crash later in the game. You do not need it if you download the updated scenario files above. Unzip into the Civ3\Conquests\Scenarios\WW2 Europe rpc\Text folder:

Unzip the files into your Civ3\Conquests\Scenarios folder.

The AI plays all smaller nations. It plays on Emperor level.

No trading or other deals with the AI, unless it comes to you, in which case you can accept a deal without changing it.

Razing or abandoning cities of size 5 and above is prohibited.

Most important changes (compared to the version first played):

• Modern Armor renamed to Heavy Tank, has 2 movement points now.
• Normal Infantry is draftable. Infantry II is not, so Germany and England can not draft.
• Tripled Railroad construction cost. Still considering whether it is enough...
• Added a Light Bomber unit. It is weaker and cheaper than a Bomber, has a smaller range (between the Fighter and the Bomber), can detect Invisible, and can do Recon missions. Should be useful for England as a long-range scout, and for the USSR as a cheapo Railroad killer.
• Normal Tanks made a notch cheaper than the Panzer. Not a lot, but still.
• Riflemen can build Roads and Forts. This means the USSR can have Roads all over the place very quickly. Add some Workers, and Rails should be there pretty fast.
• Infantry can build Forts. For those far-away-hard-to-defend places.

Yes, mostly. Spain might join either side. Germany is very strong at the beginning (a large numer of Panzers ready to roll,) so early on it can really break stuff if played carefully. Italy will struggle unless Germany helps them.
