the vikings will soon have evacuated their home island after trondheim, copenhagen and fauske were taken. fierce battles took place but the viking berserkers were took by surprise by the waves of knights and ancient cavalries. thought they might regain control of one city, the fate of their continent is pretty much sealed.
the byzantines feel they have taken fair revenge for the english invasion and are willing to offer long-lasting peace for the control of the viking continent (or after it will have been taken by force)- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity

the instead of surrendering, the vikings have burned down their villages leaving nothing except dust and rubble.
the byzantines are willing to look past these attrocities and will again offer peace (however hope for a "no" because those gems look tasty and rightfully belong to the english).
