My invasion fleet has been all but sunk this day Massive losses.

Started to build a new fleet.

My pact with the Celts againts the Carths is going well. They are taking over spain at a fast rate.

More Carthaginian ships were sunk than Persian ships this turn. Finally. I landed troops near Carthage but not as close as I wanted to be. I was afraid of getting them sunk.
Looks like Alexandria is going to be taken by the Carthaginians next turn. That means they will be at my borders. My army is ready for the buggers.

last turn I spent more than 50% of the treasury on new galleys and some other minor infrastructure projexts.

Two new battle fleets have been created, and are being sent to pound Carthage.

A very bad turn for the Persians. Many ships sunk and a number of good lads lost to Carthaginian cavalry. Alexandria was razed by the North African menace and now we are ready to go head to head. My massive force marches west next turn. The coast of Africa will be drenched in blood.

My galleys have entered the area and I have more galleys on their way.

In Spain masses of my troops are moving through the occupied Celtic lands, and we are hitting the Carths there as well.

I think we will have a fairly easy time near Carthage since most of their armed forces appear to be in Egypt massacring my army.

I counterattacked the Carthaginian army in Egypt and hurt them badly. Still, it turns out that they destroyed 50% of my 109 unit strong army last turn! They didn't attack me in strength this turn so that's a good sign. But they may be just healing up in the next city.

Carthage has fallen to Persian soldiers.

a new series of roman fleets are leaving their ports. carth shipping sure is suffering with our combined attacks.

Good news indeed.
Carthage got worse than they gave this turn. I now have two great leaders in Egypt and one in Carthage. I also managed to kill a Carthaginian great leader in Egypt.
But it's very slow going.
