The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Allright, then we have three options: E-mail all players, notice them of chug74 drop, and restart with 7 (seven) players, with same options (civs, difficult, etc...).
The second option is retiring chug74 and continue the game (hope things speed up!).
third option: we let this die right here and right now.
For me, first and second options are ok. (hey, i got nice starting location )

OK, here is my suggestion. I restart the game including some of my mods/tweaks that enhance the game play, allow versatile strategies (offer a real choice between builder and warmonger strategy) and improve the overall game experience. Who wants in? Please post in here.
I´m speaking of multiplayer experience. I´ve never seen computer making a horse-rush against me, and never fighted a experienced human player. Much less doing it with a modded game.

I must say that pbems are a tad different to mutliplayer....
and a modded game just allows for some special added fun, getting starts sorted, a good group of troops and settlers, and some gold, even a gov - monarchy is good
