I went out and my cold got worse.

Anyway, January 1485 sent to Paddy.


First battle report:

One bushi attacks one Modo monk, monk reduced to 1 HP, retreats (speak about the civ RNG), bush with 3 HP left.
One Daimyo Ljube attacks the wounded Modo monk, kills him without losing a single point of health.
One Ljube monk attacks one Modo stone crossbow near one of my cities, kills him, 2 HP left.


Second, general impressions:

These monk defenders are game breakers in my opinion. They should either appear later or not treat enemy territory as road. There is no real defence against them except for another monk and then they can still pillage at will.

The frenzied Oda monks were killed. So was one Oda Ashigaru troop in Inuyama. The atrocities committed by the Oda monks, will not be forgotten. To make up for the razing of two major cities, we demand one of the following:

• The eradication of the Oda people.
• Immediately turning over the city of Tokai to the Hojo.
• Immediately turning the cities of Sekigahara and Gero to the Hojo.

This will be followed by a peace treaty signed for the duration of five years. To show our goodwill, we would like the Emperor to choose one of the above options.

It is the real signature. Only problem is, the Emperor is PWNed by the tribe he resides with, so his word is this tribe's word.

Oda tribe needs time to consider the terms. However, refraining from further aggressive actions would surely help building trust between us. In the meantime, one of our monks scouting the border spotted one Hojo warrior and promptly executed it.


The Emperor on the other hand is not pleased with the offer presented by Hojo Daimyo Modo.

You will surely understand we had to execute that monk who killed our Warrior.

Consider our offer carefully, until next year. No answer by then will mean you facing the wrath of the whole Hojo army.
