Well, apparently the Austrians weren't worried enough until recently. Right now, we see many people come to Britain, trying to escape the horrors of war. Might it be due to the increased pace of the French offensive, that still hasn't been explained?

Btw, sorry about keeping te save. I decided to sit down and rename all units. Better have that done, before any battle reports will be needed. I should be done soon.

With great pleasure, we wish to announce, that, as of today, the great Empires of Britain and Russia are officially bound by a Mutual Protection Pact. A Right of Passage agreement has been signed as well. This means, that any aggressive action against one country will draw immediate, forceful response from the other. And, as sad as we feel about it, this will probably mean a war between England and the Ottomans.

There is a matter, that has us very concerned. Some very disturbing news come to Britain from Austria. Not only have they been attacked by Prussian forces. Now, the French people began aggressive conquest of the country as well. What is going on in Europe, we ask?! How much more terror will be sown by warmongering France? Please, let us stop this insanity.

Signed, His Majesty, Ruler of Britain, Ruler of the Seas, King Modo

I'll try loading the save when I get home in a couple of hours and post the screenshot.

EDIT: Do you need a sub Paddy? I can sub for you in your other games if you wish. Send me the list of games and passwords on my email

EDIT 2: I checked the save and there is nothing wrong with it. I loaded the game and was prompted to enter French password.

Some files might have diferent names with and without PTW installed prior to Conquests. Try changing the Knight.ini, so that it points to the sounds that are present (might be in the Art\Units\ folder of Civ3 or PTW or Conquests; might have a slightly different name). This is scenario-independent, so you won't be doing anything harmful to the save.

    Sent to Paddy.

As for the "carving up this ottoman empire", we are only interested in liberating the Orthodox Christians. This includes cities of Belgrade, Mostar and all other cities in the Balkans.

We advise the French to stay clear of these cities, as the local Serb populace might not consider French forces liberators.

Oh, but please, don't. King Modo is sure not only he would like to know the reasons for your war with Austria. Did they atack or did you? Either way, what caused it?
