I put it to you the possibility that PBEM games don't make it to the industrial age primarily because easy, sloppy alliances allowed by unstructured play lead inevitably to early conflict. If enough people become familliar with and use this etiquette, perhaps the games will be more likely to run their full course...Originally posted by Moonbars
