                    • This is absurd... now that I've played the game against Nathan, and am in this [slooooow] one, I'm getting a jones like I used to for SP.

I just registered on F-P's Ladder site!

Yeah Theseus you'll often find that games go slower than you want.

I think we found the perfect 5 man game for our Grand Passage games (Age of Discovery conquest). We get in nearly a turn every day with Paddy to Beta to Witt to con to me. The first (and now defunct) Tabemono PBEM moved along at almost that pace too. This one really isn't that slow for a 7 player game though. I've been in a few that you don't see for a few days between each turn (or a month if Arnelos or MZ are in it ).

                          • Well, my only previous PBEM was with Nathan, and we CRUISED... very frustrating not to be moving at that pace.

                            • Well if you Northerners would only send it OUTSIDE of normal business hours....

OK, I'll start bringing my laptop with me to work again so I can play it within minutes of its arrival unless I'm busy doing something and can't check emails for a while, and in that case I will get it sent within a couple of hours.

Does this mean I can now complain that no-one will play this save for hours? :shy:

                              On to Beta.

at Theseus. And I thought this was moving along quite nicely for a game of this size.

The trick now These, is to get involved in about two dozen of these, and then it will seem like one very fast game.
