I have a feeling sabrewolf missed the save, because he has played other PBEM turns in the meantime.

ask and you will receive. However, I've got to go in 5 minutes and no save yet. If Alexman doesn't get it soon, it will be after 9pm, sober or not.

by the way, i think i only need 8 techs to catch up with you in au.....so, watch out

                      I never captured Cesarea...

I wonder if alexman is drawing any conclusions yet... ;-)

This being a friendly game, I want to ask an academic civ question. Cooperation has, as it usually does, caused research to steam ahead of development. So, we all have lots of small towns.

That being the case, why don't we like Feudalism as a government better than monarchy. Small military plus 5 support per town makes the 3 maintance cost irrelevant, does it not? Otherwise, are they not virtually identical?

i believe the war weariness advantage probably is of little help in pbem. the hurry method could cut either way.

Feudalism is at its best in your situation. However, with a maintenance of 3 gold per turn per unit over the limit, make sure you won't have too many units.

As your towns grow, you'll probably want to switch to Republic anyway, so if it's just Monarchy versus Feudalism you are considering, Feudalism might be your best bet.

By the way, I have no clue what you guys are doing passing Caesarea back and forth. No wonder you're still in the Middle ages!
