in the last turn i had landed quite a few units on the byzantine home island, thereby understandably irritating them. as far as i know, chrisius does not want to continue on in this game and i doubt we'd find a replacement to step in for the first turn of battle.

i don't mind. my expansion plans end on that island with a few resources, "disrupting" the byzantine economy and from then on it'll be a builder's game for me (except if i need a later resource).

if someone wants, CM can also gift his cities or the whole civ to whoever needs more nice land. as i said, i only want the resources...
