I was self empoyed in the construction industry but have sold off my business and taken a full time position as a Foreman at a local builders merchants.
Im responsible for a team of five yard men, 3 HGV drivers and their deliveries and stock control of all the products we stock on the yard. There is also a team of men who work in the trade counter who i have to liase with regarding stocks and sales etc.
And I have to deal with goods inward from articulated lorries delivering by the lorry load, we had fourteen full loads of materials delivered on friday
Its very different from what Ive been used to but im enjoying it so far, just finding the hours tiring at the moment, 48 per week plus overtime.A proud member of the "Apolyton Story Writers Guild".There are many great stories at the Civ 3 stories forum, do yourself a favour and visit the forum.
