The Democratic Republic of Germany, to the peoples of the world:

In the past years following the initial Anglo-Spanish war, Germany and America have proven to be two great superpowers, growing alongside each other at a rapid pace, and seeming peaceful for over half of a century. Germany has enjoyed this half-century of peace, and prospered, as has America.
Germany has been happy to continue this peace throughout the next half-century and beyond. America, however, in the past several years has proceeded to a general mobilisation of her forces both on land and sea. In consequence of this threatening step, which was not justified by any military proceedings on the part of Germany, the Democratic Republic of Germany was faced by a grave and imminent danger. If the German Government had failed to guard against this peril, they would have compromised the safety and the very existence of Germany. The German Government were, therefore, obliged to make themselves prepared in the event of American treachery.
Although we had considered the situation stable, in 1888 we began to notice a more disastrous trend in the American mobilization: transports and other military ships began converging on the sovereign German state of Dortmund, threatening the safety of Germany in an immediate sense.
It is apparent that the American people wish to do harm to the German people, and in the name of the People of Germany, I, President Snoopy369, accept the challenge, and consider myself at war with America.
The immediacy of action necessary to counter the apparently imminent American invasion has forced our hand, and required us to make a direct attack on American soil, in the name of preventing probable German deaths.

We had hoped the nations of Spain and England understand our necessity to break our treaties with America, with the massive risk of imminent destruction at the hands of the vile Americans; however, the immediate declaration of war by England made it clear where they stood on the issue, and required us to take action to defend the people of Bremen. Spain also honored their agreement with America and declared war on us, but we hope to repair relations with Spain once they see the danger we were in.
My dear sovereign of England, the people of Germany hope to make peace with you once again, and in a token of our true belief of peace, will return My Joint to you if you are prepared to offer immediate peace and assurances that we will not be attacked by you.

Hmmm nice story Chancellor but youre very wrong.

I have in no way built up for war on any front with Germany and I challenge you to prove otherwise.

America can however provide evidence of massive German military build up obviosly in preparation for this disgraceful attack !!

Last year we sent out a transport ship with a settler a worker and a few infantry to settle a previously un settled island covered in jungles. it was to be a long term colonisation effoert to give America greater trade networks and a safe harbour for our merchant seamen in times of trouble.

America can not defend herself from the ravages of a mobilized Germany with out Rubber, so Nations of the world if you stand back and let this happen it will be at your own peril, for as sure as sunshine follows rain Germany will turn on you all one by one when they have finished with America !!


I call for a complete embargo on germany to force them to the negotiating table or else I ask for my trusted allies of many many years to honour their Mutual Protection Pacts with America and rise with us now to punish these barbarians !

Let it be Known America was written in to a MPP with Germany when they sneak attacked us, how can any nation trust any pacts they hold with germany ?

Let it be known America is willing to talk !!

America can provide evidence that totally refutes Germanys claims !!

Ahh War once again destroys the peace of our fair watery world.

As the Spanish have treaties with Both of the "Superpowers" for our protection against the English I would be willing to offer my services to my protectors as a possible broker of an acceptable peace?

I have presented evidence to Spain. Were England to request such evidence of me, I would send it to them as well.

Certainly no military evidence shall be presented to the Americans, who are well aware of their transport and battleship buildup in areas of opportunity. Germany does not doubt that 1890 would have seen defeated German forces had it not been for our forsight, and our troops' brave efforts.
