You could always micromanage the 1 laborer so that they do a different square. Its a good way to be sure that the settler gets done after the growth. But first we have to get enough growth for a settler....

just out of curiousity, is there a time today or (more likely) tomorrow that we're all here and will be playing or available to play, so we can perhaps get a bunch of turns going? I'm working an unusual 10pm-6am shift tonight, so I'm mostly asking when I should plan to sleep from.

Were I to guess, I'd guess that tomorrow sometime like GMT 7pm-12am is optimal (1pm-6pm CT, 11am-4pm PT)? Or do you folks work on Saturdays?

Right offhand it looks like the times would work for me. I might have to step away for 30-45 minutes in the middle of it to deal with a project, but otherwise it should work out ok. It would be a good way to break out of the initial slowness.
