didn't fix it. Repair didn't work. Reinstall gave me a redundacy error. In the end I patched 1.15 on my labtop to 1.22. Not really a solution as I can't play my 1,15 games now and I'm not all that happy C3C isn't installed on my desktop comp.

When you did the reinstall did you make sure all the files from the first install were gone? Even if you do the auto-deinstall it doesn't always get rid of everything.

found out that my cdrom isn't working properly. With another cdrom I dual installed C3C on my labtop. Fortunately I can play with my cdrom, just can't install. On my desktop still doesn't work. I deleted all civ3 files and even local machine software keys in the reg. Anyway, I can still play.
