Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
your last land grab pulled the land situation back to even. we have one more settler and a temple expansion, but it won't be enough to turn the score around IMO.
Good game -- good win. Good luck in the next round
Just for the record, it really sucks to "win" by an artificial deadline. Especially one that doesnt see us out of the ancient age where the score is so close. All 3 of us have a legitimate shot at winning this as a standard PBEM.
PS: you're not the only one with expansions and settlers pending...

Sorry on the question of finishing. The game was too distorted by the time limit and i've built cities, etc, that I would never dream of building in a normal game. Good luck going forward !
Well, if the game is truly dead, I can tell you I intended to attack you in roughly 10 turns with 6 vet swords, 2 reg swords, 2 reg javelins, 4 vet javs, and a handfull of catapults. Hence, I was hoping to crank out some turns before the deadline.
Had you settled beyond the jungle like I hoped, it would have been sooner.

Brief recap from my viewpoint. Would love to hear from everyone...
Behold my start position.
Weeee tundra.
I figured on maximizing the agricultural trait, and defense, by settling right around that lake, the only spot of fresh water I could see.
2 camps for military production each got a lucky barb worker added to them early to boost production. This here shows the effects of a settler or two in each in a mad dash for points.
After that, and shocked at how far I was from targets...errr...neighbors for such a small map, my spacing got quite wide (for me) purely to grab points.
After the lucky strike on Wittlich's first city, I knew I could take him out myself, however, enlisting jshelr's aid gave me at least a little insight on his military composition and allowed me to risk relatively few troops, though I believe I'm the only one that ended up losing any to begin with.
After that, it was a pure land-grab contest between jshelr and I, though I suspect my military is better order than his. (at least the mil advisor says so)
