This was to be the last few days for the tournament, but I've decided to push back the deadline to midnight December 31st GMT. At that point, the point leaders left active in each game will be placed into the second round final. (first round games can be played to completion just for fun of course).
Under the circumstances, I'm declaring an Iron Civer holiday- free freeze time for everyone through Nov 1st!

5 weeks left to run up your scores!
It looks like CIV PBEM is stable enough to play with the patch. Is anyone interested in a massive Iron Civ PBEM? I'm holding off on a multi-game tournament until I hear more PITBOSS info, but CIV allows 18 players in one game. Out of the twenty-some ICers, we should be able get near that limit.
No promises on it being a fast game- but maybe we could set a participation record at least.

On a side note, I was wondering why Uber went to war with me in our current game....now that I now that the high score basically wins after midnight 31 December - I can see now why he took this stance...just call me slow on the uptake.

Um, yeah, it doesn't exactly look like people are following this thread too closely...

I just successfully started an 18 player pbem in cIV.
On a side note ... it's getting to the point in Green that we need you back to speed along saves.
