No word on the news front- I've put a few advert threads in the Civ3 forums, though. I'm in the middle of an 11-day work week, but I'll start organizing the games whenever I have a few spare hours.

Still need info from Trip and Beta...

I'm in... emailing my info shortly.

Ok, I should have time to get this running this week. My first question is, with 20 players, should I cut off entries now and start five four-player games or start four five-player games to leave room in case some people arrive late for the party?

The goal is to have five challengers face the first tournament champion for the second championship, but four challengers would work also...

We can try to set up slots so we can get one turn played per day per group, and then decide if groups of 4 or 5 are better...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

I think it's safe to leave a game open because all the games won't be running at the same pace in any case. A slightly later start won't make much of a difference.

                      Let's get going!

I'm putting together groupings now- I still need playing time information from Trip, Ormuzd, and Mickeyj. Give a primary playing time window (in GMT!), not just your timezone.

Ricketyclik, you sent two PMs with two different times...

my main time frame to play turns is evenings GMT but in the beginning I could play in the mornings

                          Main: 15:00-21:00 GMT
                          Additional: 5:00-6:00 GMT

I think I have PMed the other details to you, Rommel

I'm spending my Memorial Day working out the goupings. Is there anyone from the first Tournament who would prefer all new opponents?
